A Journey Born in Poverty, Forged in Perseverance.
I was born into a humble family in rural India, where my father earned the equivalent of $8 AUD a month, and my brother and I were separated in childhood due to financial hardship. Life was never easy—but it taught me early the value of sacrifice, education, and unity.
Despite the odds, I completed an engineering degree with distinction and later earned an MS in Telecom and Software Engineering, followed by a full-time MBA from ESADE Business School in Spain. I believed then—and still do—that knowledge is the great equalizer.
18 Years in Consulting, Technology, and Public Sector
Over the next 18 years, I worked across India, the UK, Finland, and Australia, rising through the ranks from a database programmer to project management consultant. I thrived in the telecom, technology, and health sectors, with stints at Tech Mahindra, CSG International, Infosys Consulting, Qvantel, SA Health, Australia for UNHCR, CMAX, Hambs, Optus, Telstra, UniSQ, UQ and more.
But behind the spreadsheets and KPIs, my true fulfilment came from service: to people, communities, and justice. I discovered that leadership isn’t just delivering results—it’s delivering impact.
In 2020, I joined Australia’s COVID-19 frontline with SA Health (Govt. of South Australia). My work supported thousands during the nation’s most uncertain hours.
While serving the public, I was privately battling separation from my wife and newborn twins, stranded overseas due to the pandemic. That separation grew into a silent war with my mental health—marked by anxiety, depression, and profound loneliness.
Yet I showed up every day. For my job. For my family. For Australia.
In 2023, my life was upended again—this time by family breakdown and allegations that led to my ousting from my home and children’s lives. I endured six months of homelessness in Toowoomba winter, living on benches, attending court by day and shelters by night.
My only "crime" was trying too hard to stay in my children’s lives.
Though I pleaded guilty to DVO breaches and served probation, my story is not one of guilt—but of misunderstanding, resilience, and relentless love. I undertook every mandated program, saw psychologists, and completed parenting courses not as punishment, but with a sense of humility and preparedness to be the father my children deserve.
Because I believe stories heal. They humanize. They reveal truth in a world obsessed with reputation.
